We met Pol Guasch in 2023 in a talk he gave on Artificial Intelligence in Andorra. Despite his youth, he gave a magnificent talk about Artificial Intelligence full of complex concepts and explained with simplicity. He studied mechanical engineering, although that is already a memory for him, because from 2016 he got to know the world of machine learning and everything it means. He started preparing and making AI models on the sly in one of the companies where he started working. Then he went through a Start-Up in Luxembourg that ended up giving him the push to undertake his own project. From his experience in the sector it seems that he is over 40 years old but, nevertheless, at 27 years old he has the courage to get in front of his own project. And not just one, he now has 3 projects within the AI sector. Within the sector, he advocates for a massive adoption of the technology but in a decentralized and democratized way. “Everyone should have access to AI tools from any device as just another tool. Like the belt in the car.” - He commented in an interview he was given in Diario d'Andorra.
Along the way, he has also given some talks, as we mentioned at the beginning of this article. In one of them, on AI in education, he commented the following: “It is not about regulating AI, because it is an open technology, but educating the critical look of students. They have to understand the advantages and disadvantages it brings.” On this comment we agree. In this world where AI is gaining ground, we must become more human by awakening the critical spirit of society.
